Karen Sobieski, Vice-President
Karen Sobieski is vice president of FTDATA. Karen works directly with the CEO to manage the business and guide strategic direction, focusing on planning and program/project management. Karen brings FTDATA 22 years of IT experience and a broad background in multiple industries, including defense, IT consulting with Price Waterhouse, and telecommunications with Verizon Communications. As a Director of IT at Verizon, Karen provided executive level consulting services focusing on customer relationship management, technology planning, infrastructure deployment, software development, and data warehousing.
Karen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Mary Washington College. At Verizon, Karen received numerous awards for her own performance and that of her department.
